Solar Technician - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now hiring experienced Solar Technicians II/III for a commercial solar project in Delaware and Maryland.

Project Duration: 6–8 weeks
Schedule: Approximately 50 hours/week
Pay: $32–$38/hour + overtime depending on experience
Per Diem: $110/day / $770 per week

The primary responsibility will be removing existing solar inverters and installing replacement inverters at a large commercial solar field.

You will work as part of a crew under the direction of the project’s electrical/site leadership.

Responsibilities include:
• Remove existing inverters
• Install replacement inverters
• Disconnect and reconnect equipment as directed
• Assist with mounting and securing replacement equipment
• Route and dress wiring/cabling as required
• Use hand and power tools
• Follow installation drawings and site instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all site safety procedures and LOTO requirements
• Perform other general solar installation duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
• Solar Technician II or III experience
• Commercial solar experience strongly preferred
• Experience installing or replacing solar inverters is a plus
• Familiarity working in a large commercial/utility-scale solar field
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to follow drawings, instructions and established installation procedures
• Good understanding of basic solar equipment and installation practices
• Reliable and able to commit to the full 6–8 week project
• Able to work approximately 50 hours per week
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
